Wendy Hughes is one of Australia's most accomplished actresses, though sadly she has not had the international acclaim she fully deserves.
She won the AFI for her role as the scheming Aunt Vanessa in Careful He Might Hear You, and has won and been nominated for many awards.
As well as movies, she appears on the stage in Australia and has done some TV work, both in her native country and in the USA.
